Herbert harman MD

Herbert Harman, MD

Psychiatrist

Dr. Harman has more than a decade of experience practicing psychiatry in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care settings. After returning to civilian life following a deployment to Afghanistan as a Combat Operational Stress Control Officer, he worked in several psychiatric emergency departments. His approach ensures patients are treated in settings that promote recovery while ensuring safety.  

In 2015, Dr. Harman was recruited to Vituity to launch our telepsychiatry practice line and lead Operations. With his extensive experience practicing psychiatry in diverse settings, as well as assisting in the development of an innovative telepsychiatry programs, he brings his unique expertise and patient care experience to the practice. His philosophy is to help patients quickly get to settings that promote recovery while ensuring safety from imminently dangerous situations. 

Roshanak Ramezani MD

Roshanak Ramezani, MD

Psychiatrist

Dr. Ramezani comes from a background in training in a wide range of settings. She was trained primarily in urban Los Angeles in acute care psychiatry with subspecialty substance use and HIV-psychiatry clinics. She then completed geriatric psychiatry fellowship in Brooklyn, NY and served for several years as Medical Director for a psychiatric emergency room in Harlem, NY. During this time, she also served as faculty at New York Medical College and Associate director of the psychiatry residence program.  

Dr. Ramezani draws heavily on the knowledge she has from working in various settings as well as her teaching experience to deliver culturally-sensitive care to help patients and their families understand, cope with, and manage their acute psychiatric symptoms. 

Emily Whisler DO

Emily Whisler, DO

“Mental health concerns are often best treated by addressing not only what is occurring in the mind but also what is occuring in the body and the environment. Following a thorough diagnostic evaluation I prefer to treat all patients with a combination of the appropriate evidence based medication management as well as individualized therapy. I have trained in numerous therapeutic styles and understand that each patient is unique and deserves a unique, tailored treatment plan.”  

Dr. Whisler grew up in the Bay Area before moving across the country for her medical education and training. Over the past decade, she has gained extensive experience in the evaluation and treatment of general psychiatric conditions, with specialized instruction in trauma, addiction, sexual health and development, Autism, and other neurodevelopmental disorders. Most recently, Dr. Whisler completed her Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Stanford Hospital, where she developed expertise in family dynamics, therapies, and the treatment of younger children.

Committed to helping her patients on their journey toward wellness, Dr. Whisler is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of care through ongoing education and the exploration of new treatments. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the Bay Area with her dog Mildred, as well as running, hiking, swimming, and cycling. When the weather permits, she loves to relax with a good book on the beach.

Dr. Reddy

Abi Reddy, MD

Psychiatrist

Dr. Reddy is a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in both adult and child & adolescent psychiatry. He brings broad clinical experience across hospital-based psychiatric settings and is committed to delivering thoughtful, patient-centered care to individuals across the lifespan.

Dr. Reddy earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed his adult psychiatry residency and child & adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the University of Kentucky, where he also served as Chief Fellow. In addition to his clinical work, he provides physician leadership as a Medical Director supporting inpatient psychiatric services in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Nasratullah Wahidi, MD

Nasrat Wahidi, MD

Psychiatrist

Dr. Wahidi is a board-certified neuropsychiatrist and physician leader who serves as Regional Director of Psychiatry, overseeing psychiatric services and advancing patient-centered, evidence-based care. He is known for fostering strong multidisciplinary collaboration and driving clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and innovation in behavioral healthcare.

His clinical and research interests include interventional psychiatry, neuropsychiatric aspects of aging, catatonia, and the safety of antipsychotic medications. Dr. Wahidi has co-authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in journals such as Neurotherapeutics, Case Reports in Psychiatry, and The Primary Care Companion for CNS Disorders. He is certified in ECT and has experience practicing TMS in private practice settings.
